No Pity
by

Many people running scared
Fleeing from there own existence
While I accept my fate
Computer, sleep, work
Darkness fills the void
Where once was light and hope
Never again to dream
Watching life surrounding others
Looking into the blackest of hearts
I see an honesty so pure
The seventh son of a seventh son
Always have to wear a label
Were our lives that much easier
Twenty odd years ago
Puberty, acne and wet dreams
Complications you could deal with
Two people in a single bed
Doesn’t seem so uncomfortable
Different partner, better built body
All grown up and alone together
Don’t pity or misread me
There’s more than what is shown
I’m just thinking out loud
Not looking for an answer
No questions, no expectations
Life is easier this way
Fantasy is sometimes more interesting
Reality is the only let down
